HEY GUYS!!
I don´t remember if i updated
everyone on where i am now... BUT I am now in a sector called San Miguel with
my new companion Hermana Miranda who is from Boise :) We are doing so great!
This week we killed cockroaches, Hna. Miranda slipped on wax in the street from
a pray statue of Maria, we messed up a house, we did yoga in a lesson, aaaaand
a cat jumped on my back! Lots of excitement.
We are working A LOT with our amigas Ana y Tiare who have a
baptismal date for the 16th! Ana is trying to quit smoking and quit for a day
about two weeks ago and then fell back into habit. SO this week we had a super
great lesson with her about agency and how she really needs to decide to quit
NOW, and she did!! Well is hasn´t been that long, but she hasn´t smoked in
three days!! This is a lot of progress for her, and we are confident she will
achieve her goal :)
We had a service project this week where an hermana asked us
to paint her house, and we did.... but it looked AWFUL!!! The brushes she
gave us for the corners were still dirty with stain so half the house is red
and the other is a gross dark dirty red... we felt so bad so we went back to
fix it, but she ran out of paint so we painted her fence instead! It has been a
process, and we are still in this process to fix it... OOPS
SO much has happened this week, but i can´t give all the
details! Just know that God makes us SOOOO much more than what we can make
ourselves. I love the people we are teaching right now, and I am super excited
to update you on all of their progress.
