This week was full of ups and downs but all around good :)
It was a little difficult this week beause this week was Chile´s independence
day (18th) so all this week people have been leaving for vacations. We are
stillmaking the most of it though! I am seeing miracles every day, and during
the times when i feel tired or stressed, the best medicine is to talk to
someone else about them and about this awesome message!! It changes my attitude
every time. BUT so far as highlights this week:
1. We shaved our recent convert Roberto´s dog! i am learning
so many skills here through service... tile work, dog grooming, demolishing...
you name it!
2. Us and the elders ate lunch with Roberto for the 18th
because all the membersleft so we didn´t have lunch... Roberto always comin in
clutch.
3. Our investigator Héctor painted me a picture! He is
always stuck in his house taking care of his mom and it is really hard on his
mental and emotional health, so we are trying to help him find distractions and
activies to do in all his free time. He actually painted for a living before
his mother got sick so we brought paint and paper and sat and painted with him
for a little :) It was great and he now is going to try to take it up again!
4. Even though this week was kinda crazy, we were stillable
to do our weekly Family Home Evening with Miriam, Perla, Tatiana, and
Christopher. We are focusing a lot on Perla and Tatiana because they have
somuch desire to learn!! They are awesome :)
