Hey hey hey!!
This week was super awesome, but I don´t have a lot of time
so I am going to try to make this fast!
1. We met with Tomas again, and he told us about this dream
that he had about Christ having bronze skin and a sword, and then Tomas had
bronze skin and a sword and used it to kill evil red monkeys or seomthing... We
were awestruck yes, but if it helps you believe in Jesus, I´m down.
2. We were teaching hugo the other day and talking about the
Book of Mormon. What it is, How it came about etc. and the whole time his mom
was walking about doing meangingless tasks like half listening until the spirit
took over and she came over and asked if she could sit down and listen too! It
was so cool because she actually had so many great questions, and honestly is excited
to read and learn more. They are so great, and we are super excited for them!
3. Chile is infested with dogs.
4. Someone dropped a box off in front of the church with 5
puppies inside! They were old, like a couple months, but it was really sad. After
two days of members coming and going, they finally got adopted! Refer to point
3.
5. We had a conference with Elder Villar who is an area
seventy and it was super awesome! He talked a lot about the importance of using
the Book of Mormon in our teaching, and not just having them read it, but
really having them understand it. I think this new program of the church that
focus on study in the home will help a lot with that not just with the BOM but
with all the books!
6. We woke up at 4am to watch the sunrise from the top of a
hill in San Bernardo BUT public transportation sucks so the elders that were
coming with us had a lot of dificulties because public transportation sucks so
they were delayed almost an hour in meeting up with us because public
transportation sucks. SO we finally got there late, and saw the sunrise AS we
were hiking to the top haha And it´s all because public transportation sucks.
But the view was pretty :)
I watched a mormon message this week that had a phrase that
i liked a lot which was "the Lord is patient with our progress"
sometimes we can´t see all the imporvement we are making, but the important
thing is that we are doing our best to improve every day. He is patient with
us, and he knows it will be a process. Don´t demand of yourself perfection, but
demand of yourself improvement :)
