Turns out Hugo and his family are just awesome because we
next met his SISTER this week, fernanda, and she just like her mom asked us if
she could sit in and listen. Turns out she has been having some emotional
problems and what we shared was exactly what she needed! I love this family.
We talked with Tomas and he finally explained his beliefs
which are.... drum roll... the iluminati... ya so that was fun. he drew it all
out the whole "system" and evertything, but on the bright side, he
thinks it is bad, and that we can only find God and happiness "outside the
system" so we had a good talk with him, and the spirit DEFINATELY helped
my comp and i to know what to say and how to say it.
We are teaching a cute old lady named Juanita who is so
sweet, and can´t read but already tells us how true the church is and how faith
is so important, and it is just really sweet.
AAANNNNDD Hermana Doxey and I are lame and re-arranged our
house then had a "picnic" inside on the floor because we were too
tired to go anywhere else (ya know because of the whole public transportation
thing ;))
D&C 58:2-4
2 For verily I say unto
you, blessed is he that keepeth my commandments, whether in life or
in death; and he that is faithfulin tribulation,
the reward of the same is greater in the kingdom of heaven.
3 Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present
time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come
hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation.
